The Graduate Assistant for Women’s Leadership Initiative at Dominican University in River Forest, IL, provides support to the Assistant Director of TRIO and helps develop, coordinate, execute and evaluate the initiative. The GA position is an academic year appointment, up to 20 hours per week.

HOURS NEEDED PER WEEK: Up to 20 hrs
PAYMENT: $1,360 monthly stipend OR tuition remission (up to 6 credit hours for fall 2026 and 6 credit hours for spring 2027)
AVAILABLE TO: Students enrolled in a graduate-level program at an accredited institution
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT (APPROXIMATE): September 2026 - June 2027. Please note that this is a 10-month commitment.
The Graduate Assistant (GA) of the Women’s Leadership Initiative will provide direct assistance to the Assistant Director of TRIO with the development, coordination, execution and evaluation of the Women’s Leadership Initiative within the department. The GA serves in an academic year appointment working
approximately 20 hours per week and reports to the Assistant Director of TRIO.
In addition, the GA will build relationships and collaborate with various university departments.
