Job summary

Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering seeks an Admissions Officer to recruit and enroll students into MEM, MEng, and MS programs. You will be the primary contact for prospective students, guiding them through admissions, travel for events, and collaboration with faculty and partners.

You will analyze recruitment data, manage relationships with applicants, alumni, and institutional partners, and help meet enrollment goals while representing Pratt at events and virtual programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with relevant admissions or higher education experience.
• Experience in admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, or related field.
• Experience building relationships with prospective students and partners.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and using data to support recruitment and enrollment efforts.
• Strong communication, service orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment and yield activities to meet graduate enrollment goals.
• Represent Pratt programs at recruitment fairs, conferences, and virtual events.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, alumni, and institutional partners.
• Coordinate logistics and execution of recruitment initiatives, including events and travel.
• Process applications, verify materials, support admissions reviews, and assist with visa documentation.
• Monitor recruitment data in Slate, analyze trends, and provide reporting for decision-making.
• Collaborate with marketing to create communications and outreach campaigns.
• Respond to inquiries and provide timely information on programs and admissions.
