Job summary

Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Duke University seeks an Admissions Officer to engage with prospective students and guide them through the admissions process. You will represent Duke to students, families, alumni, and counselors while evaluating applications and planning recruitment events.

Based on experience, you may join as an Admissions Officer, Senior Admissions Officer, or Assistant Director. The role requires weekend work, extended hours during peak seasons, and 2–4 weeks of travel

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of admissions, college counseling, or education experience.
• Excellent writing and public speaking skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation abilities.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Duke to students, parents, alumni, and school counselors.
• Evaluate applications and plan recruitment events.
• Plan on-campus and off-campus recruitment events.
• Conduct information sessions for large and small groups.
• Collaborate with student volunteers and campus partners.
