Job summary

The University of New Haven in West Haven, CT invites applications for Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions. In this role you will guide prospective students through the graduate application process, represent the university at recruitment events, and collaborate with programs across the campus to meet enrollment goals.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Domestic Graduate Admissions, you will manage communications via CRM, lead yield campaigns, and support scholarship notification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; two to four years of higher education experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
• Commitment to improving the customer experience for prospective students
• Experience in higher education is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to collaborate across departments and maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact to prospective students across channels.
• Advise prospective students on all aspects of the graduate application process.
• Participate in on-campus and off-campus recruitment activities and events.
• Ensure prompt communication with applicants via email, social media, CRM and phone.
• Support yield campaigns and maintain up-to-date marketing collateral for events.
• Monitor recruitment activities and adjust strategies to meet targets.
