Job summary

The University of New Haven seeks an Assistant Director of Admissions and Enrollment Communications to lead marketing initiatives across undergraduate and graduate admissions. You will develop content across channels, optimize digital experiences for students and families, and present enrollment data to leadership.

Travel for recruiting events is required. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) with at least one year in admissions, strong communication, and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year admission experience required.
• Ability to engage with a diverse population of prospective students, families, and staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Banner experience and CRM system familiarity.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing initiatives across Enrollment channels (email, SMS, print, direct mail, display).
• Create and contribute to comprehensive communications plans and strategies.
• Manage digital dashboards for enrollment goals and present data to leadership.
• Oversee enrollment communications budgets and assets inventory.
• Represent the university at college fairs and school visits; travel as needed.
• Provide admission counseling to prospective students and families; handle day-to-day communications.
