Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Grading Superintendent to serve as the on-site representative and main contact for grading operations in the South Central District, supporting projects across TX, LA, and MS. You will coordinate scheduling, material control, and field supervision to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of infrastructure improvements.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in construction with supervisory experience and proficiency with grading and material handling, as well as strong

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction with at least 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand directions and communicate with management and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team by identifying key success factors and scheduling.
• Lead organization structure and processes to execute services, quality, safety, and cost.
• Evaluate execution against contract, data, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Monitor safety orientations and coach for improvement.
• Monitor crew structure, mix, and wage compliance.
• Review cost and man-hour budgets and plan staffing and equipment needs.
