Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop relationships and to work with teams as both a leader and a participant.
• Working knowledge of customer specifications to ensure quality and avoid re-work.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills; building rapport and giving/receiving feedback.
• High ethical standards, integrity and trust.
• Must pass pre-employment criminal background check.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures.
• Moderate travel to other locations as needed.
• Availability for non-traditional work hours.
• Ability to work independently and with groups.
• Ability to work under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Paving/Grading and Construction Crew on-site.
• Oversee safety policies and procedures and use appropriate tools for tasks.
• Delegate tasks to crew members and make daily production decisions.
• Assist crew with various duties such as shoveling, raking, and material handling.
• Signal operators and coordinate movement of equipment.
• Place, move, and dismantle signs, barricades, cones and traffic controls.
• Perform other duties as needed.
