Job summary

JT Russell & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Grading Foreman in Albemarle, NC to lead grade crews on highway construction projects.

You will supervise crews, read plans, schedule materials and equipment, and ensure safety and quality on site. This onsite role requires at least 3 years of Grade Foreman experience in heavy civil or highway work, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as Grade Foreman in heavy civil/highway
• Ability to read plans and determine project needs
• Able to supervise grade crews and maintain records
• Willing to perform manual labor if required

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of grade crew members to ensure safe, efficient work
• Train crew on operational protocols and safety measures
• Maintain daily records of crew time, materials, and equipment
• Read and interpret project plans and specifications
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, and DOT personnel

Skills

3+ years Grade Foreman experience

GPS familiarity
