Branch Civil is seeking a dependable Grading Foreman to join our growing team in the Rocky Mount area. You will oversee grading crews on-site, coordinating with Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure project goals are met while maintaining safety and cost controls.

The role emphasizes planning, daily preplanning, equipment operation, and timely reporting. Strong communication and minimum 5 years experience in highway construction are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience with highway construction and grading projects.
• Experience with GPS and site surveying is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grading operations with Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Oversee grading crew on-site and ensure plan execution.
• Preplan and schedule grading activities daily with the Superintendent.
• Ensure material storage and equipment maintenance are proper.
• Maintain safety, incident reporting, and OSHA compliance at jobsites.
• Prepare daily reports and equipment/quantity documentation.
• Ensure quality control and contract compliance of grading work.
