Job summary

Branch's Civil Division is seeking a dependable Grading Foreman to oversee grading crew on-site and coordinate with Superintendents and Project Managers. The Foreman must be able to see the “big picture” and manage materials, safety, and compliance to keep the project on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in highway construction, 3+ years as a grading foreman, and experience with heavy equipment, GPS, and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years’ experience with highway construction.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Grading Foreman.
• Experience with heavy equipment for dirt/site projects.
• Valid driver’s license and Branch Fleet policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grading operations with Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Oversee grading crew on-site and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Preplan and schedule grading activities; manage material and equipment inventory.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and conduct safety meetings.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and project reports; monitor progress and budget.
