Job summary

Branch Civil’s Roanoke office is seeking a dependable Grading Foreman to coordinate grading operations on-site and supervise the grading crew. You will work with Superintendents and Project Managers to keep projects on schedule and ensure quality and safety across the site.

The role requires strong dirt work knowledge, experience with heavy equipment, GPS familiarity, and the ability to communicate effectively with owners and engineers. A valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA and safety knowledge beneficial.
• Experience with GPS and heavy equipment operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grading crew and coordinate with Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Preplan and schedule grading activities; ensure safety and reporting.
• Maintain materials storage and equipment, and ensure contract compliance.
• Prepare daily reports and supervise on-site operations.
