Job summary

Duininck Inc. is seeking a Grading Foreman to lead grading crews on year-round infrastructure projects across Texas and Oklahoma. This working foreman position requires heavy equipment operation and the ability to schedule daily activities.

You will ensure safety procedures, coordinate workers, review time sheets, and liaise with maintenance and HR as needed. A competitive benefits package accompanies this role, including PTO, health, life and 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related skill, knowledge and experience in heavy civil operations construction.
• Must be able to read, understand and apply information obtained from blueprints, surveys and job specifications.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan out each day and communicate to the crew members what activities are to be accomplished.
• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed; report issues to management as needed.
• Coordinate, direct and lead workers engaged in construction activities.
• Supervise crews to obtain top quality workmanship, efficiency, morale and teamwork.
• Review and verify employee time sheets for accuracy before submitting to timekeepers/payroll.
• Address worker issues and coordinate with HR on harassment cases.
