Job summary

Duininck is seeking a Grading Foreman to supervise grading crews on infrastructure projects across Texas and Oklahoma. This role requires operating heavy equipment and coordinating daily activities, with a focus on safety, quality workmanship and team dynamics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related skill, knowledge and experience in heavy civil operations construction.
• Must be able to read, understand and apply information obtained from blueprints, surveys and job specifications.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Certifications recommended: Erosion and Sediment Control, OSHA, First Aid and CPR, Confined Space, Competent Person, Asbestos.

Responsibilities

• Plan out each day and communicate to the crew what activities are to be accomplished.
• Ensure safety and incident reporting procedures are followed; escalate to Grading Operations Manager and Safety Manager as needed.
• Coordinate, direct and lead workers engaged in construction activities.
• Supervise crews to obtain top quality workmanship, efficiency, morale, communication, teamwork and pride.
• Review and verify employee time sheets for accuracy before submitting to Payroll.
• Travel to job sites across North and West Texas; may include frequent overnight stays.
