Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Grade Foreperson to lead grading and storm utility work at IMC Pocatello. You will oversee laborers and operators, ensuring safety and quality on civil projects, and travel to job locations as needed.

The ideal candidate has multi-year excavation/grading experience with heavy equipment and can read plans, calculate grades, and manage on-site tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications and willing to learn new software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Able to read, interpret, and follow plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew in safety culture and ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Superintendent to follow instructions.
• Supervise/train personnel in daily tasks and ensure quality workmanship.
• Read and follow owner's plans and specifications.
• Supervise equipment operators and laborers to meet field layouts.
• Ensure proper compaction, ride-ability, and aesthetics of work.
• Perform equipment operator and laborer duties when needed.
• Report changes and seek approval for plan adjustments.
• Maintain equipment, site cleanliness, and daily job costing records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
