Job summary

H2ajobs in Oklahoma is seeking workers to perform grade, sort, and classify agricultural products including sorghum, corn, and hay. Duties include weighing, mixing according to grade, and distributing materials while discarding defective items.

You will move bales and assist with winter tasks; English is required for communication and safety. Employer provides housing and meals; transportation to stores is arranged as needed.

Job description

Worker will be required to perform duties of SOC Code 45-2041 Graders and Sorters such as: Grade, sort, or classify agricultural products including sorghum, triticale, corn, hay by size, weight, moisture, or condition; Weigh products and mix according to grade and prescribed formula; Distributed mixes as instructed; Discard inferior or defective products or foreign material; Move bales from fields to lot; Perform winter work such as breaking ice and moving snow. Must speak and understand English.

Meals:

Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
