  • Site Layout & Grade Verification: Set elevation stakes, stringlines and grade markers to guide excavators, dozers and skid steer operators during site cuts, fills and fine grading.
  • Equipment Utilization: Set up, calibrate and utilize optical transits, rotating lasers, auto‑levels and handheld smart levels to measure and monitor correct slopes and drainage angles.
  • Blueprint & Plan Interpretation: Review civil site plans, cross‑sections and cut sheets to accurately calculate offsets, slopes and necessary adjustments in the field.
  • Quality Control & Inspections: Continually check subgrades, base aggregate layers, and drainage flows against exact project tolerances prior to paving or concrete placement to prevent material overruns or water pooling.
