Job summary

Broadbent & Associates, Inc. in Tempe, Arizona, seeks a Water and/or Wastewater Operator with Grade II certification to operate and maintain small rural facilities.

The role supports water supply, treatment, and distribution with potential remote work depending on experience. Preferred candidates may pursue Grade III, and holding both Water and Wastewater certificates; Broadbent provides training, testing fees, and study materials.

Qualifications

• ADEQ Certified Grade II Water/Wastewater Operator required.
• One or more of Grade 2 Water Distribution System Operator, Grade 2 Wastewater Collection System Operator, Grade 2 Water Treatment System Operator, or Grade 2 Wastewater Treatment System Operator.
• Willingness to travel within the western US.

Responsibilities

• ADEQ Certified Grade II Water and/or Wastewater Operator required.
• Operate and maintain water and/or wastewater treatment systems.
• Perform compliance water and wastewater sample collection.
• Work independently in field conditions under supervision of the Division Manager.
• Desire and ability to train other operators.
