Wethersfield Public Schools has an opening for a Long-term Substitute Grade 5 Teacher. The substitute teacher will work under the direction of the school principal, and collaboratively with the grade-level team, to provide an exceptional and nurturing learning environment where students feel safe, valued and respected. On a daily basis the teacher will continually assess student progress and growth, provide ongoing student supervision, regularly share written and verbal feedback with students and families, maintain records of student performance, and continually seek to develop professionally to bring the most current and innovative learning practices to the classroom.
