Job summary

Supermicro's high-performance Product team is looking for a skilled System Engineer to support the development of technical collateral for in-house GPU server system products. In this role, you will define and implement cutting-edge data center and server technologies, create proof of concepts and technical feature presentations for industry events.

You will serve as the go-to expert for benchmarks relating to GPU and networking/DPU.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
At least 2 years of hands-on system/server architecture development and debugging experience.
GPU experience and network/Liquid Cooling experience are a plus.
Strong knowledge of computer architecture, server technologies, and data center operations.
Ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Identify and analyze the root cause of system failures.
Provide prompt internal responses to hands-on product development and support.
Customer on-site support with up to 20% travel.
Test automation and review; communicate findings and insights.
Collaborate with Sales teams, Field Engineers, and Product Managers to gather and refine product requirements.
Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive development and implementation.
