Job summary

Parasail seeks a Supply Chain & Procurement Lead to own supplier relationships and end-to-end purchasing for GPU infrastructure. You’ll negotiate with vendors, manage delivery commitments, and build visibility into availability and cost to support deployment efforts.

You’ll start by direct supplier engagement and scale processes, systems, and a team as Parasail grows its infrastructure footprint

Qualifications

• Experience owning hardware procurement and supply chain in a cloud/data center context.
• Direct responsibility for supplier relationships, negotiations, and delivery commitments.
• Experience managing supply against changing demand and lead times.
• Ability to work with engineering on hardware specifications and tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier relationships with hardware manufacturers, distributors, and logistics partners.
• Lead sourcing and purchasing for GPUs, servers, networking gear, racks, and spares.
• Translate capacity requirements into purchasing plans considering lead times and budgets.
• Track orders from placement to receipt and manage delays with alternatives.
• Collaborate with engineering on specs, substitutions, and deployment timing.
• Maintain visibility of equipment in transit, deployed, or awaiting repair; manage lifecycle.
