Job summary

CBTS is seeking a GPU Deployment Engineer to travel nationwide and lead onsite installation and bring-up of GPU server infrastructure. You will work with a local smart-hands team to install hardware, cabling, and ensure systems power on prior to turnover.

The role requires hands-on GPU server experience, familiarity with MPO/MTP cabling, and the ability to lead a small onsite team while managing schedule and risk communications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing GPU servers or AI/HPC compute infrastructure.
• Experience with MPO/MTP fiber cabling and structured cabling.
• Familiarity with POST and hardware bring-up/validation.
• Ability to travel up to 80% across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite installation of GPU servers, switches, and related hardware.
• Coordinate with third-party smart-hands and internal resources.
• Document findings, communicate installation status, and escalate risks.
• Manage travel logistics and schedule adherence.
• Complete onboarding and ride-along before working independently.
