Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring a Bare Metal Support Engineer to maintain and operate a large GPU fleet across U.S. data centers.

You will work with customers, data center technicians, and engineers to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure. You’ll diagnose issues, triage incidents, and develop tailored support for varied workloads, while contributing to documentation and internal tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience in data centers, GPU clusters, or hardware troubleshooting.
• Linux proficiency including command-line usage.
• Experience with NVIDIA GPUs and large-scale data center environments.
• Networking and troubleshooting TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP.
• Firmware, BIOS configurations, and driver management experience.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence/Notion for issue tracking and docs.
• Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level support for customers using bare-metal GPU fleets.
• Diagnose, triage, and investigate customer issues; identify root causes.
• Understand customer workloads to offer tailored technical support.
• Coordinate remote troubleshooting with Data Center Technicians.
• Create and maintain internal troubleshooting guides and playbooks.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support production clusters.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve hardware reliability and performance.
• Implement automation to streamline support workflows.
• Perform in-depth log analysis across firmware, drivers, and hardware layers.
• Provide feedback to improve internal processes and issue resolution.
• Work with networking teams to troubleshoot connectivity for workloads.
• Support supercomputing infrastructure running GPU workloads at scale.
• Drive operational excellence and refining support methodologies.
