Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas seeks an Accountability Specialist to coordinate GPS monitoring for residents under home confinement and supervised activities. You will work with case managers to align schedules with BOP/ACA guidelines and document activities in resident files, ensuring compliance and safety throughout the program.

The role requires experience in correctional or supervision settings, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel for site visits.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred in criminal justice or related field.
• Experience counseling or supervising adults in correctional settings is desired.
• Knowledge of GPS monitoring procedures and incident reporting is essential.

Responsabilités

• Install GPS devices on residents and monitor movements related to home confinement and work sites.
• Coordinate with case managers to develop compliant resident movement schedules per guidelines.
• Document contacts, visits, and incidents in resident files and monitoring records.
• Conduct home detention site visits using standard checklists and verify locations.
