Job summary

Deloitte’s GPS team is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the GPS HST Technology group in the United States. You will support implementation, operations, and maintenance while guiding junior professionals and collaborating across client environments.

The role requires 7+ years of consulting/industry experience, a bachelor's degree, and the ability to travel up to 20%. Eligibility for immigration sponsorship may be available, with a focus on delivering value to government and public sector

Qualifications

• 7+ years of consulting and/or industry experience.
• State public assistance system experience for eligibility and benefits determination.
• Experience supporting state clients in eligibility determination, benefits calculation, benefits issuance, and/or information management.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Willingness to travel 0–20%, depending on client needs.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and operations management best practices and guide junior professionals.
• Lead workstreams on engagements in systems implementation, operations & maintenance, helpdesk, and software development and maintenance.
• Contribute to deliverables and review others' work for quality.
• Understand client environment and project scope.
• Manage client and team value-creation activities.
