Job summary

Branch's Civil Division is seeking an experienced GPS Bulldozer Operator to join our well-established, growing company. The operator will run a tractor with a front blade to excavate, level, and distribute earth, and push trees and rocks as required.

The role requires 1–3 years of GPS bulldozer operating experience, knowledge of construction techniques, and OSHA regulations. It may involve on-call hours and on-site work in various terrains and conditions.

Qualifications

• GPS bulldozer operation experience required.
• Knowledge of construction techniques and safety practices.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Fastens attachments to tractor.
• Connects hydraulic hoses, belts, or power takeoff to provide power to attachments.
• Operates controls to manipulate tool bars, carriers and disks.
• Operates bulldozer to grade terrain per grade stakes/hand signals.
• Monitors engine for stalling and estimates depth of cut.
• Performs routine service and adjustments on equipment.
