Job summary

Branch's Civil Division is seeking an experienced GPS Bulldozer Operator to join Branch Builds, Inc., a well-established and growing company. You will operate a tractor with a front blade to excavate, level, and distribute earth and to push trees and rocks.

This full-time role requires safety-mindedness and the ability to work 40+ hours per week, with on-call responsibilities for weather delays and emergencies at the job site. Prior GPS bulldozer experience and OSHA knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of GPS bulldozer operating experience.
• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Fastens attachments to tractor.
• Connects hydraulic hoses, belts, mechanical linkage or power takeoff shaft to tractor to provide power to raise, lower or tilt attachment.
• Operates controls to manipulate tool bars, carriers and disks.
• Operates controls to maneuver tractor and raise, lower and tilt attachments to clear right-of-way.
• Listens for stalling action of engine to estimate depth of cut.
• Operates bulldozer in successive passes to raise or lower terrain to specified grade following markings on grade stakes or hand signals.
• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
