Job summary

Animal Medical Center of Plainfield is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our state-of-the-art General Practice and Emergency hospital in Plainfield, IL. We are a 20-doctor facility with a focus on teamwork and mentorship.

Hours currently run Monday–Wednesday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., Thursday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., and Saturday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; GP is closed on Sundays. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits offered to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or experienced Veterinary Technician with 1+ years.
• Strong teamwork and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to accommodate schedule changes; Saturday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in general practice appointments.
• Educate clients on preventative care and treatment plans.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area.

Animal Medical Center of Plainfield is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Plainfield, IL. As a 20-doctor, full-service General Practice and Emergency hospital, we provide top-tier veterinary care to pets throughout the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. Due to growth within our GP department, we are expanding our team!

• We are seeking someone with open and flexible availability. The GP is closed on Sundays. Current hours are Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. While these are our current hours, they may be extended in the future, so candidates must be willing to accommodate potential changes in the schedule. Saturday availability is required.
