Job summary

Align Dental Group in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA 2) for a full-time position. The role offers benefits and opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

You will work chairside, help manage patient care, and support the daily clinic flow while expanding your skills with a collaborative team in a high-volume practice.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RDA certification
• Current BLS certification
• 2–5 years of dental assisting experience
• Experience making temporary crowns and bridges
• Clear documentation, communication, and organization
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist chairside and keep procedures running smoothly and on time
• Prep treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and trays before each patient
• Assist with temp crowns and bridges, crown deliveries, nightguards, bleaching, and suture removals
• Take diagnostic X-rays and keep patient records, lab scripts, and case tracking accurate
• Help patients understand their treatment and feel confident in their care
• Support scheduling, re-care, and the daily flow of the clinic
• Maintain equipment, inventory, sterilization, and emergency suppliesTrain and support newer assistants as they grow

• Strong chairside skills and knowledge of instruments and proceduresClear documentation, communication, and organization
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred

Nice to have

• Ortho, Invisalign, implant, or iTero experience
