Job summary

Mortenson Dental Partners is seeking a Dental Assistant 4 to join our Indianapolis practice. This role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a pay rate up to $29/hr based on experience, with a standard 40-hour work week and full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include supporting dentists and hygienists, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting with restorations and impressions. EFDA certification, CPR/BLS, radiology license, and 3+ years EFDA experience are required.

Qualifications

• EFDA certification required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Radiology license required.
• At least 3 years EFDA experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures and equipment.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delivers clinically excellent dental care through education and quality treatment.
• Assists dentists and hygienists in quality diagnosis through X-rays and other tests.
• Prepares treatment room, sterilizes instruments, and passes instruments to the dentist's access.
• Places and finishes permanent restorations, impressions, crowns/bridges, and adjusts occlusions and interproximal areas.

Responsibilities

• Delivers clinically excellent dental care through education and quality treatment.
• Assists dentists and hygienists in quality diagnosis through X-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests as directed.
• Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access; suctioning; and passing instruments.
• Places and finishes permanent restorations, completes preliminary Impressions, makes and polishes temporary crowns, removal temporary crowns, and fitting of permanent crowns and bridges, adjusting occlusions and interproximal areas, application of sealants, and adjusting partials and dentures.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Radiology License.
• 3 years of Expanded Functions Dental Assistant ( EFDA) experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
