Job summary

Mortenson Dental Partners in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a New Patient Dental Assistant to join our part-time team. The role supports clinicians, prepares treatment rooms, sterilizes and hands instruments, and assists with patient flow during appointments.

This position offers a Monday–Thursday schedule from 12:30pm to 7pm (28 hours/week) with competitive benefits after 60 days and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• CPR/X-ray certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the treatment room for patients
• Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access, suctioning, and passing instruments.
• Completes Clinical notes before dismissing patients
