Job summary

Crowned Grace International is seeking a Conference Planner II to plan and deliver workshops, meetings, and conferences that bring together Forest Service leaders, scientists, partners, and the public. This mid-level role requires independence, ownership of assignments from start to finish, and the ability to work toward government requirements.

You will manage timelines, budgets, venue selection, speaker coordination, and registration, including hybrid/virtual platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; relevant experience may substitute.
• CGMP designation from SGMP is preferred or required.
• Experience planning federal conferences and familiarity with agency conference reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates logistics for workshops, meetings, trainings, and conferences.
• Develops event plans, timelines, cost estimates, and logistics checklists with the project lead.
• Coordinates venue research and lodging per government requirements.
• Manages speakers, presenters, and audiovisual needs.
• Runs registration systems and attendee communications; handles accessibility requests.
• Supports hybrid and virtual meeting platforms and conducts technical rehearsals.
• Leads on-site logistics for events and resolves issues during operations.
• Tracks costs against the approved budget and prepares cost summaries.
• Prepares after-action summaries with lessons learned and improvements.
