Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a software engineer to design, build, and maintain APIs and interfaces linking Leo capabilities to US Government customers such as NASA and DoD. You will develop mission-critical services coordinating with external systems at scale.

In this role you will implement SDN/interface software, validate interfaces in a simulated environment, and ensure performance, reliability, interoperability, and security across Leo systems used by government agencies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.

Responsibilities

• Interface APIs and other enabling software to meet government customer needs.
• Demonstrate interfaces and architectures in a simulated test environment.
• Solve complex technical problems related to Leo constellation usage for government customers.
• Collaborate with internal and vendor teams to deliver software and interface requirements.
• Ensure systems meet performance, availability, interoperability, and security needs.
