Job summary

ASM Research seeks a project support professional to assist the Project/Program Manager on government contracts in the San Antonio area. You will help write, update, and submit contract deliverables and monthly reports, and monitor task progress, risks, and budget adherence.

You will communicate status to government customers and partners, contribute to process improvements, and ensure adherence to CMMI/AIMM standards while supporting planning, execution, and result tracking.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0-2 years of experience working on projects/programs supporting Government Contracts.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed analyses of project functions and work processes; provides recommendations for improving efficiency and effectiveness of work operations.
• Maintains project management related documents; writes, updates, reviews, and submits contract deliverables.
• Responsible for the completion of contract deliverables assigned to the team, ensuring they are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
• Tracks and reports on project risks; recommends changes that will reduce or eliminate project risks.
• Communicates with government customers and partner companies to discuss project status and updates; gathers feedback and executes changes as directed.
• Supports project management phases such as planning, execution, and result monitoring.
