Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee seeks a Government Operations Consultant II to deliver training and technical assistance for the Child Care Food Program. The role develops materials, evaluates contractor applications, and coordinates statewide training initiatives.

The incumbent will research innovative training methods, prepare reports, and present findings at state and national meetings while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Qualificações

• Four years of professional experience in training, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, or program evaluation.
• Must be willing to physically come in the office to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Regulatory responsibilities may apply, including determining compliance with federal/state statutes or regulation and related agency transactions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical assistance, consultation and guidance to staff and prospective program contractors via telephone and email.
• Lead in developing the annual bureau training plan and create training materials and training modules for program operators.
• Evaluate and approve or deny contractor applications for eligibility, financial viability and program accountability.
• Develop resources and training materials for state staff and program contractors; revise training materials to reflect policy updates.
• Research training techniques (web-based, live online, video) and assess cost, effectiveness and adoption potential.
• Arrange statewide meetings and staff training sessions; participate in outreach activities.
• Make presentations representing the Florida Department of Health at state and national meetings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
