Job summary

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Division of Recreation and Parks seeks a reliable OPS Government Operations Consultant I to support the Director’s Office in Tallahassee. The role is up to 40 hours per week in-state employment with duties across travel, MFMP/Ariba management, and general office administration.

The incumbent will handle travel processes, requisitions, invoices, and records while coordinating communications and ensuring efficient office operations.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative experience.
• Experience coordinating and processing travel.
• Experience with the Florida Statewide Travel Management System (STMS).
• Experience with My Florida Market Place (MFMP).
• Government purchasing experience.

Responsibilities

• Submit travel authorizations and reimbursements.
• Manage MFMP NextGen/Ariba on Demand for the office.
• Enter requisitions and receive invoices on purchase orders.
• Order items with a PCard.
• Serve as the Division’s property contact.
• Submit monthly vehicle logs and gas receipts.
• Coordinate service for the Director’s Office vehicle.
• Submit monthly cell phone records.
• Sort and send mail; manage mailing lists.
• Maintain office supplies.
• Perform special assignments, research, and report preparation.
