The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Division of State Lands (DSL) serves as Florida’s lead agency for environmental management and stewardship and acts as staff to the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the State of Florida (Board of Trustees). DSL’s work goes far beyond land acquisition. DSL overseesmore than 12 million acres of public land across Florida, including lakes,rivers,and islands. These lands provide opportunities for residents and visitors to explore, connectwith,and appreciate Florida’s one-of-a-kind natural landscapes.
Knowledge of: Qlik development, Electronic Document Management System administration, relational database concepts; methods of data collection and analysis; Structured Query Language (SQL).
Skilled in: The utilization of computers, printers, scanners, fax machines, and Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to: Think logically, solve problems, and make decisions; work independently; analyze and interpret data; communicate technical information verbally, pictorially, and in writing; quickly learn DEP and commercial software applications; interpret and follow statutes, rules, and policies; generate statistical reports, project reports; function as fully participating team member; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; and provide courteous and professional customer service.
