Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Government Account Manager for a remote role in the Diabetes Care division. You will sell the ADC product line to regional government accounts, develop strategies, and grow the customer base in the Great Plains region (MN/ND/SD/IA/KS).

The role emphasizes territory planning, training, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, MSLs, and Inside Sales to maximize revenue and ensure quality systems compliance.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Business, Communications, Health Sciences or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• 3.0 to 5.0 years of proven successful sales track record; 4+ years if outside Abbott.
• Experience with VA, DoD, Indian Health; military background or family in military preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selling to government target facilities and cross-divisional initiatives.
• Territory management, budgeting, and account planning.
• Expand into Primary Care and manage customer care.
• Forecasting, travel planning, and quarterly business reviews.
