Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises Inc. seeks a Subject Matter Expert Government Representative to support Corrosion Control Operations, building and expanding strategic relationships with DoD and federal agencies to ensure growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

The role involves identifying opportunities within DoW, DoT, and other agencies; leading technical proposals to meet NAVSEA/GSA standards; and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement with travel of 40–60% as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of Business Development or Program Management experience specifically within the Federal/DoD space with technical expertise in maintenance.
• Solid understanding of corrosion mechanisms and industry standards (e.g., AMPP/NACE, SSPC).
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations and the federal acquisition lifecycle.
• Ability to translate complex technical data into value-add narratives for non-technical government decision-makers.
• U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain/maintain Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and capture new opportunities within the DoW, DoT, and other federal agencies for corrosion inspection, mitigation, and maintenance.
• Provide market intelligence on potential opportunities and threats.
• Serve as technical liaison on corrosion prevention and control (CPC) programs; draft winning technical volumes for RFPs to meet NAVSEA or GSA standards.
• Demonstrate product knowledge; conduct site surveys and demonstrations as needed.
• Develop relationships with Program Managers, Contracting Officers, and technical leads at key commands and activities.
• Identify and vet subcontractors or prime partners to strengthen bids on large-scale sustainment opportunities.
