Job summary

Quartermaster is hiring a Contracts Manager, Government Programs to own the government contract lifecycle end to end. You will be the primary voice to U.S. Government contracting officers and prime contractors, shaping negotiation and post-award actions to ensure funded work.

This is the first dedicated contracts hire, building the function with authority across growth, proposals, and finance while enabling program delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in federal government contracting or acquisition.
• Direct track record negotiating and executing contract actions.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS and contract types.
• Ability to read technical volumes and map scope to CLINs.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with government and prime contractors.
• Review solicitations for compliance and risk; work with proposals on matrices.
• Own pre- and post-award actions, CLIN restructures, option exercises, funding actions.
• Negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, and subcontracts.
• Maintain SAM.gov registrations and representations.
• Align cost volumes, pricing data, and billing schedules with programs.
• Protect intellectual property rights and ensure regulatory compliance.
