Job summary

QinetiQ US is hiring a Contracts Manager to lead a team of contract professionals handling prime contracts and major subcontracts on hardware programs. You will interface with Government contracting officers and manage the lifecycle from development to production, ensuring compliance and risk management.

Reporting to the Director of Contracts, you will drive consistency and communication across programs transitioning to production.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field.
8+ years administering U.S. Government prime contracts and/or major prime subcontracts on the seller side.
Experience with hardware production programs and contract risk management.
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and contract types (T&M, FFP, cost-type).
Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of contract administrators supporting development and production programs.
Oversee solicitation reviews, RFP analysis, and compliance assessments.
Lead or oversee negotiations for complex hardware, production, and delivery-driven contracts.
Ensure award documents are reviewed and obligations communicated to program teams.
Monitor performance, funding, deliverables, and changes across programs.
