Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in the United States seeks a Region Manager to support the Infrastructure Strategy and Service Integration Team within the Global Government Delivery Organization (GGDO).

You will collaborate with hardware and software engineering leaders and technical program managers to ensure contractual delivery of new region designs and builds, including accreditation projects. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and experience in government or national

Qualifications

• 5+ years in program management or related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs.
• Current TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of related field experience.
• Ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
• Experience with workforce metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with AWS internal service teams to ensure timely delivery of contract commitments.
• Coordinate with Intelligence Community customers to solicit and aggregate requirements.
• Develop and maintain high level work plans, risk management plans, and schedules.
• Lead communications among AWS and government stakeholders.
• Lead contract performance discussions through program reviews.
• Participate in long lead infrastructure expansion plans and capacity forecasts.
• Identify blockers and coordinate AWS resources to move workload forward.
• Meet with enterprise account managers to transfer opportunities from prospect to workload in progress.
• Support engagements moving from first call to active project moving to AWS.
