Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal Technologist to lead delivery for US Government programs within GGDO. You will collaborate with customers, partners and AWS teams to navigate DoD IC requirements, security, and program governance.

The role requires strong strategic thinking, hands-on delivery, and excellent communication to articulate customer value and drive adoption of AWS cloud solutions across federal customers. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI with poly are required.

Qualifications

7+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking.
7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
7+ years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies (Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, Cloud Operations).
7+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, Storage).
Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

Liaise with AWS service teams to ensure technical commitments to customers in named programs.
Interface with Capture, Sales, and Solutions Architecture to support partnership discussions and decisions.
Coordinate a matrixed team drawn from Federal verticals to support programs.
Collaborate to develop long-term AWS Federal strategy including global infrastructure and go-to-market.
