Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Risk Manager for the Global Government Delivery Organization (GGDO) in the Arlington, VA area. You will manage risk across US government programs, interface with customers, partners, and service teams, and develop mitigation strategies with PMOs and Contracts.

A TS/SCI clearance is required and you will work within a fast-paced, flexible environment. Responsibilities include maintaining risk registers, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and briefing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of in program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision making experience
• 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
• Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications
• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Liaise with AWS service teams to ensure that AWS meets technical commitments to customers in named programs.
• Interface with Capture, Sales, and Solutions Architecture teams to provide technical depth to partnership discussions and capture/pursuit decisions.
• Coordinate a matrixed team drawn from the Federal business verticals in support of specific programs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop the long-term strategy for AWS to deliver in the Federal program space, including global infrastructure, feature and service deployment, and go-to-market approach.
