Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Technical accounting knowledge and training.
• Experience or knowledge of governmental accounting and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the administration and development of the budget.
• Reviews and evaluates budget requests and variances.
• Monitors and analyzes accounts and budget variances.
• Coordinates budget documents and reports.
• Reviews contracts and ensures funding availability.
• Projects revenues and expenditures.
• Analyzes financial projects against budget allocations.
• Prepares costing studies to support activities.
• Develops budgeting procedures and reporting procedures.
• May supervise staff and provide guidance.
