Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, mathematics, or a closely related field.
One year of experience in auditing, government finance/accounting, grant accounting, or budgeting.
Data analysis and reporting, financial reconciliation and journal entry processing, understanding of GAAP, GASB, and CFR compliance.
Experience in public sector or non-profit accounting and grantor training are a plus.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis: Work with large datasets using Excel and Access to support reporting.
Financial Processing: Process, analyze, reconcile, and monitor financial activities including journal entries.
Grant Management: Reconcile accounts, request reimbursements, forecast, and report for grants.
Asset Management: Oversee departmental and fixed assets, tagging, inventory, reporting, disposal.
Financial Reporting: Prepare SEFA for ACFR and indirect cost allocations.
