Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years' experience in public accounting and at least 2 years in a senior manager role with public sector auditing.
• Holds a current and valid CPA license.
• Ability to travel to client and firm locations.
• Proven ability to bring in new business to a CPA Firm.
• Extensive experience auditing under GAGAS/Yellow Book, GAAS, and Uniform Guidance.
• Experience auditing not-for-profit organizations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ongoing communication with clients and builds strong relationships.
• Acts as liaison between partner, client, and staff; manages multiple audits and engagements.
• Signs attest opinions as engagement partner when assigned.
• Oversees engagement phases and ensures compliance with accounting framework and policy.
• Identifies issues and escalates to partner with recommended solutions.
• Leads staffing and scheduling of engagements and trains staff.
• Leads business development and expands client network.
