Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Enablement Lead, Government, to design and deliver high-impact enablement programs for public-sector customers. You will lead live workshops, develop training materials, and guide adoption across ChatGPT Enterprise and Agents.

Based in San Francisco or Washington, DC, this role combines instructional design, customer advisory, and change management to help government teams apply AI safely and effectively.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of customer-facing enablement or transformation experience in government or complex enterprises.
• Ability to design learning journeys and run workshops.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the enablement of OpenAI products for government with scalable adoption patterns.
• Lead onboarding, activation, and expansion across public sector customers.
• Develop training materials, playbooks, demos, and customer impact stories.
• Advise on workforce communications and engagement strategies to boost adoption.
• Build relationships with government leaders and front-line public servants.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Product teams.
