Job summary

ACCO Brands seeks a Paralegal to provide high-quality legal and governance support to the attorney responsible for governance, securities, and employment law. You will support Board processes, corporate records, securities filings, and employment matters while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, discretion, and sound judgment in a fast-paced public company environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or paralegal degree required or preferred.
• 5+ years of legal, paralegal, governance, securities, employment, or legal operations experience.
• Experience supporting public company governance, board processes, SEC filings, proxy materials, or corporate records preferred.
• Experience assisting with SEC filings, disclosure calendars, insider lists, proxy materials, or annual meeting support preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with executives and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with legal matter management or board portal tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Board and committee meeting materials, agendas, minutes, and related governance records.
• Oversee board calendars, governance processes, director questionnaires, and related documentation.
• Support securities law and disclosure activities, including SEC filings and annual meeting logistics.
• Manage legal entities, corporate records, and related documentation; assist with POAs, certificates, and filings.
• Coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel on governance, corporate records, and compliance matters.
• Support legal operations, matter management, budgeting, and contract templates.
