Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services Inc. is seeking a Governance Analyst to help ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies. The role involves coordinating, developing, and implementing corporate governance policies and procedures across AmTrust’s entities.

The candidate will manage record-keeping, prepare charter documents, and maintain minute books while liaising with departments to file annual reports and respond to governance inquiries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a corporate governance paralegal or similar role (4+ years in-house or at a law firm).
• Experience with online governance and matter management systems and AI technology.
• Knowledge of corporate governance principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with business law and insurance regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Paralegal Studies Degree, bachelor’s degree in business administration/law, or related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administration of all aspects of accurate record keeping with respect to legal entity records, including maintaining the company’s records through an online database.
• Draft and file charter documents with respect to the life cycle of a corporation, LLC, partnership, etc.
