Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Controls & Governance to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal controls across Service Operations. You will drive SOX and SOC 1 compliance, coordinate audits, and partner with control owners to mature the control environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in governance, compliance, risk management or related fields.
• Experience with SOX and/or SOC 1 control activities and audit coordination.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
• Strong communication, executive reporting and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control processes.
• Lead SOX and SOC 1 compliance activities, monitoring and certification.
• Coordinate control walkthroughs, testing, and audit support with stakeholders.
• Develop remediation plans with clear ownership and timelines.
• Prepare executive-level communications, dashboards, and status reports.
